The Atkinson Centre was established to provide a pan-university physical and philosophical home for mature and part-time students. The centre first opened its doors in Central Square in August 2007 and celebrated its launch on November 5, 2007. We are currently working on a variety of projects, including a recognition event for our graduating students and volunteers, ongoing student advising, mentoring programs, Orientation, and research projects related to the needs of mature and part-time students at York.
We are committed to being a voice for mature and part-time students and we are excited to be part of York University’s ongoing commitment to accessibility and support for students throughout their university experience.
